Antique 1910’s-20’s | Medium | Silk crepe embroidered dress with fringe and weighted hems

This late 1910s or early 1920s silk dress is a very well preserved example of the time!

Beautifully made, this LBD features exquisite silk embroidery at the waist, with large, weighted fringed panels which fall from each hip, and four smaller panels at the front and back waist which mimic the pleating of the bodice.

The bodice fastens with snaps at the left shoulder, as well as the left side waist (also weighted).

Excellent overall condition and very well made, though the ivory silk inner bodice has a few small stains and a couple small tears (not seen when worn and does not affect wear).
