A truly magnificent 1970s Deadstock couture silk gown from iconic designer Pierre Cardin.
Constructed in Paris, this collectible piece of fashion history is made almost entirely by hand.
A true work of wearable art!
Layers of soft, shell pink chiffon cascade from the heavily decorated neckline, featuring a Trompe l’oiel bow with 3D accent atop the shoulder, mirrored by beadwork on the right cuff.
The evening gown did not originally come with a sash (one was used for styling purposes). It can be worn belted at the empire or natural waist for a new silhouette.
Excellent overall condition, with just a few tiny storage marks.
