Rare Vintage 1930's | Medium | Puff sleeve blouse and skirt set in primary colours Indian block-printed cotton

💐Incredibly charming 1930's home-made two piece dress set in a crisp starched cotton.

This colourful set boasts a beautiful geometric/floral print in cheery primary colours, and great care was taken to ensure even pattern matching.
The cropped boxy-fit top features a pleated, puffed shoulder with slender half sleeves and an inverted pleat through the back for ease of movement. The midi-length skirt is gathered at the waist, adding fullness through the hips. The top and skirt both feature a very cute hand-sewn pocket.
Mother of pearl buttons adorn the front placket of the blouse, fastening with snaps, while the skirt fastens at the side waist with hooks and eyes.
